The benefits of stem cells (stem cells) for regenerative medicine are enormous and their potential has not been explored optimally. Based on the results of the latest research, it is known that the damage to body tissues will be repaired by stem cells that are physiologically abundant in the bone marrow. Also, stem cells can be isolated from other sources, namely from peripheral blood, umbilical cord blood and even from liposuction residual fat tissue.

Stem cells are known to be cultured ex vivo and then can be used as therapy or as research material in the biomedical world. In line with technological advances, various methods of isolation and culture of stem cells have been widely reported.

Stem cell-based therapies have begun to be widely developed both at home and abroad, so expertise is needed to isolate, multiply and analyze stem cells. This workshop will provide the knowledge and skills needed for both health professionals as well as biomedical researchers and lecturers in the health sector. The Stem Cell and Cancer Institute in collaboration with the Masters Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pancasila University will hold a Workshop on Stem Cell Isolation, Culture and Analysis to explore the latest stem cell technology.
