In order to welcome new students from the class of 2022/2023, the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Pancasila (FFUP) held an Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) for the Academic Year of 2022/2023 on Wednesday to Thursday (14-15/9). This Faculty PKKMB activity is a series of PKKMB activities carried out by Pancasila University on 12 to 16 September 2022. Technically, the PKKMB implementation is carried out in a hybrid way (offline and online) centered in the IV FFUP Hall.

The Dean of FFUP, Prof. Dr. apt. Syamsudin, M.Biomed in his speech introduced faculty profiles, alma mater submission for new students, and reading of outstanding students. Followed by material from the Deputy Dean I, Prof. Dr. apt. Dian Ratih Laksmitawati, M. Biomed. and Head of Pharmacy Study Program, Dr. apt. Esti Mumpuni, M.Sc., related to academic activities, Deputy Dean II Dr. apt. Faizatun, M.Si. related to the existing infrastructure at the Faculty as well as the remarks of the Vice Dean III Dr. apt. Ni Made Dwi Sandhiutami, M.Kes. related to student activities and campus policies. The information conveyed is a provision for new students to support the success of study in higher education.

Starting the event on Days I & II, BESI (Art Workshop) FF-KMUP performed traditional dances. As for the 2nd day of the PKKMB FFUP, there was an Open House for Parents of Students with the leadership and all FFUP lecturers. The open house is held online using meeting zoom.

Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) aims to introduce and prepare new students in the process of transitioning to student status. The implementation of PKKMB is expected to be a vehicle for socializing the policy of independent learning, and can change the paradigm of new students, namely studying to learn. Learn how to be able to work, be useful and contribute to society, and later be competent in carrying out pharmaceutical work, have good soft skills and have the personality of the noble values of Pancasila.
