On Friday (16/9), a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Faculty of Pharmacy, Pancasila University (FFUP) and Karitas Weetabula General Hospital. In this working visit and activity, Prof. Dr. apt. Syamsudin, M. Biomed. attended directly at the hospital in Southwest Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara.

The signing process by both parties, namely Prof. Dr. apt. Syamsudin, M. Biomed., as the Dean of FFUP and dr. Didik Hadi Santosa, MARS., as Director of Karitas Weetabula General Hospital. This cooperation agreement will implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, including education and teaching, research and development and community service. In order to realize the realization, one of them is by conducting clinical observations of patients with malaria (Plasmodium falciparum) using standardized herbal medicines. This research activity was carried out by students of the Pharmaceutical Science Doctoral Study Program on behalf of Dian Yudianto, who served at the Hajj Health Center Member of the Hajj Health Service Team, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.

Great hopes with Prof. Syamsudin and dr. Didik, hopefully the collaboration will continue, not just research. Dr. Didik is very welcoming because there are still many opportunities for activities that can be carried out including public health education, training programs from experts from the lecturer team, discussion forums between health workers and the faculty of pharmacy and others.
