Monday (24/6) has been carried out well and smoothly, the process of verifying the fulfillment of external laboratory capabilities from the Food and Drug Testing Laboratory, BPOM. Qlab was chosen to be one of four other laboratories given the opportunity as a Pilot Project for Laboratory Recognition.

The event was attended by Prof. Dr. apt. Syamsudin, M.Biomed (Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Pancasila University who is also QLab’s Top Manager) namely, Dr. apt. Greesty F Swandiny, M.Farm (Vice Dean II who is also Qlab Operations Manager), Prof. Dr. apt. Ni Made Dwi Sandhiutami, M.Kes. (Vice Dean III), Dr. apt. Siti Umrah Noor, M.Si. (Head of QLab Laboratory), Esti Mulatsari, M.Sc (QLab Quality Manager), Dr. apt. Rahmatul Qodriah, M.Farm (Chemical Technical Manager), apt. Rika Sari Dewi, M.Farm (Pharmacology Technical Manager), and the entire Qlab analyst team. The BPOM RI parties who attended were apt. Dra. Arum Prasetyaningtyas, M.Si; Nurul Hidayati, S.Si M.Si and Annisa Kamil, S.Farm.

This good opportunity proves that the Faculty of Pharmacy of Pancasila University through the QLab research and testing laboratory, is ready to commit and contribute to government programs, especially in testing DEG / EG contamination levels which had recently become a common concern of the Indonesian people. QLab has high hopes that this Pilot Project will encourage closer collaboration between faculties within the institution and with other institutions, especially with BPOM RI. This collaboration is expected to result in a deeper understanding and more effective solutions in handling EG/DEG contamination, improving academic and scientific standards in the field of determining EG/DEG contamination levels. By introducing proficiency testing, QLab hopes to measure and improve the competence and accuracy of the analytical methods used. [GF]
