Faculty of Pharmacy students won the Gold Medal (Life Science Category) and Special Award from the Malaysia Young Scientists Organization (MYSO) in a scientific paper competition held by IYSA through the Jakarta International Science Fair (JISF) 2024 event at the Indonesia International Institute for Life Sciences (i3L) Campus.

With the research title: “NANOPASS GEL: INNOVATION OF PASSIFLORA EDULIS LEAF EXTRACT FOR UNVEILING THE ANTI-INFLAMMATORY AND ANALGESIC POTENCY” and presented on July 27-30, 2024.

Indonesian Young Scientist Association (IYSA) in collaboration with Indonesia National Institute for Life Sciences (i3L) organized a scientific competition titled “Jakarta National Science Fair” for the first time JISF organized a hybrid situation competition (Online and Offline). JISF emerged as a prestigious platform dedicated to fostering scientific innovation and collaboration on a global scale. Recognizing the importance of scientific advancement in addressing contemporary challenges, JISF stands as a beacon for research scientists, and innovators to gather and share their groundbreaking discoveries.

Around 306 teams from 10 countries participated in these three events, divided into 46 teams participating in the JNSF competition, 231 teams participating in the JISF competition, and 29 teams participating in the WECC competition. The 10 countries participating in this event include: Indonesia, Thailand, Turkey, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan.
