The Faculty of Pharmacy, Pancasila University (FFUP) has resumed its archive destruction program as part of its commitment to environmentally-based waste management. In this third phase, 4,992 kilograms of archives were destroyed and melted at PT Fajar Paper, Cikarang on Wednesday (11/6), to then be reprocessed into raw materials for paper and tissue.

This activity is a continuation of the two previous batches, each of which destroyed 4,980 kg (Batch 1) and 4,940 kg (Batch 2). Thus, the total archives that have been destroyed to date have reached 14,912 kilograms.

This step is in line with FFUP’s efforts to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and Goal 13 (Addressing Climate Change). The entire process is carried out in a measurable and sustainable manner to reduce paper waste in the educational institution environment.

The faculty expressed its appreciation to the lecturers and education staff who have contributed to managing archives and maintaining the sustainability of the campus environment. The Batch 4 archive destruction activity is scheduled for the near future, with further information to be announced by the general section.
