On Wednesday (16/4), Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Pancasila (FFUP) showed its commitment to environmental preservation through the transportation and dismantling of plastic bottle waste in collaboration with Bank Sampah Sakura RW 05 Srengseng Sawah. This activity is a tangible form of FFUP’s support for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through Green Matric Campus.

From the unloading of 56 kilograms of plastic bottles, to the weighing, to the involvement of the Chairman of RW 05 Srengseng Sawah and the managers of Bank Sampah Sakura, everything was done with a spirit of collaboration to create a cleaner and more sustainable environment. Not just a waste collection, this activity is also a place to educate the community about the great potential of recycled waste. Some of the innovative products that were successfully produced from the recycling process include:
- Lamps and containers from waste paper
- Eco-friendly soap from used cooking oil
- Creative bags from used plastic bottles

Through this action, the Faculty of Pharmacy is not only voicing concern for the environment, but also encouraging the active role of the community in the circular economy. This initiative is expected to set an example for other institutions to continue supporting the green and sustainable movement.
FFUP, together with the environment-small steps, big impact! 🌱
