In addition to planting various types of plants, the Faculty of Pharmacy of Pancasila University (FFUP) is committed to increasing the area of water catchment to support UIGreen Metric. One of the efforts made is by making 11 strategic biopore points in several campus locations. The existence of biopores is very important to increase the water absorption capacity in the campus environment. The selected locations include the area in front of the FFUP library, the Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) area, and the side of the raw material warehouse. Benefits of Biopores: Biopores help prevent waterlogging and flooding by increasing infiltration of rainwater into the soil. It also helps maintain soil moisture, supports plant growth, and reduces soil erosion. In addition, biopores also serve as a medium for the decomposition of organic matter which can increase soil fertility.
