Wednesday (7/5) was a special moment filled with emotion and pride for 105 graduates of the 73rd Pharmacist Class of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Pancasila University (FFUP). Located in Pesona Square Hall, they were officially inaugurated in a solemn procession that marked the beginning of their professional journey as pharmaceutical workers who are ready to serve the country.

The event began with a report from the Head of the Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program (Ka. PSPPA FFUP), Dr. apt. Novi Yantih, M.Si, who said that 105 students successfully graduated in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year after passing a series of rigorous and thorough examinations. In her speech, Dr. apt. Novi Yantih, M.Si emphasized that the journey to becoming a pharmacist is not easy. The students must go through various stages of selection and examinations, including:
- A three-day PKPA exam on December 14, 20, and 21, 2024, involving 79 examiners, of which 65% were external examiners from government institutions such as the Ministry of Health, BPOM RI, the Health Office, as well as practitioners from the pharmaceutical industry, hospitals, and pharmacies.
- UKOM CBT National Try Out which was held on November 30, 2024 at the CBT Center of Pancasila University with the support of the UKMPPAI National Committee.
- National Competency Test (UKOMNAS) CBT method on February 8, 2025 held in two locations: Pancasila University and University of Indonesia.
- OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) on 18-20 January 2025 at OSCE Center FFUP, also organized by UKMPPAI National Committee.
In addition to taking various theoretical and practical exams, graduates also undergo a six-month Pharmacist Professional Work Practice in five main sectors: pharmacies, hospitals, pharmaceutical industry, pharmaceutical distribution, and government agencies including the Health Office and Puskesmas.
A proud achievement was achieved by apt. Dyah Ayu Putri Pitaloka, S.Farm., who won the title of Best Graduate with a perfect GPA of 4.00 and a comprehensive score of A. For this extraordinary achievement, she received the Dexa Award as a form of appreciation from PT Dexa Medica, which on this occasion was represented by Mateus Ramidi, SE, as Dexa Dharma Manager.
In this inauguration activity, the signing of the Pharmacist Oath and Promise Letter was also carried out, as well as the Submission of New Pharmacists to the Regional Management of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (PD IAI) as a symbol of the graduates’ readiness to enter the professional world officially.
Remarks from the PLT Rector of Pancasila University, Prof. Dr. Adnan Hamid, S.H., M.H., M.M., also added meaning to this sacred moment. In his message, he expressed optimism about the readiness of the 73rd batch of pharmacist graduates. “Potential and competence are important, but more than that, ethics and professional dignity must be maintained,” he said.

The Dean of FFUP, Prof. Dr. apt. Syamsudin, M.Biomed, also expressed his hope that the graduates could become excellent pharmacists, highly dedicated, and able to make a major contribution to pharmaceutical services and public health in Indonesia. Meanwhile, remarks on behalf of the new pharmacists were delivered with enthusiasm by apt. Naufal Rizky Ritonga, S.Farm, who represented his friends in expressing gratitude and commitment to carry out the profession with all his heart and high integrity.
The inauguration and oath-taking ceremony of the Pharmacist was also attended by representatives from various institutions, such as:

With gratitude, novelty, and pride, this inauguration ceremony marked the beginning of the professional journey of the 73rd Pharmacist graduates. This moment is even more proud because 93% or 98 graduates managed to achieve the title “With Commendation”, and 100% of graduates passed the National Competency Test (UKOMNAS). An extraordinary achievement that reflects dedication, hard work, and high quality education. Congratulations to all New Pharmacists! May you be trustworthy in carrying out your duties, and always maintain the dignity of the profession for the sake of the nation’s health.
