The Faculty of Pharmacy, Pancasila University (FFUP), through a research collaboration with PT Natura Nuswantara Nirmala, won an international award at the Indonesia Inventors Day 2025 event.

The research team led by Prof. Dr. apt. Syamsudin, M.Biomed. and Dr. apt. Greesty F. Swandiny, M.Farm. successfully presented two innovations, namely Liver Health Supplementation (Onohepar) and Natural Gastroprotector (Onosuka). Both innovative products received a Gold Medal for Natural Gastroprotector, a Silver Medal for Liver Health Supplementation, and a Special Award from the World Invention Intellectual Property Associations (WIIPA).

β€œThis achievement is clear evidence that Indonesian pharmaceutical research is capable of competing at the international level. Collaboration between academics and industry is the key to innovation that benefits society at large,” said Syamsudin in a written statement on Wednesday (17/9).

Full support from the management of PT Natura Nuswantara Nirmala, including CEO Edward Basillianus and directors Cipto Kokadir and Henryanto Komala, also contributed to the success of this research. This achievement is expected to serve as motivation and an important addition to the list of innovations and achievements of the Faculty of Pharmacy at University of Pancasila, as well as a contribution to strengthening national health innovation independence.
