Jakarta, June 30, 2025 — The Faculty of Pharmacy at Pancasila University (FFUP) held a health seminar entitled “DKT Goes to Campus” on Monday (6/30) in the FFUP 4th Floor Hall. The event highlighted the theme “The Role of Future Pharmacy in Improving Sexual and Reproductive Health,” with the aim of broadening the knowledge and skills of prospective pharmacy professionals in the field of reproductive health.
This seminar is a form of cooperation between PT Mclinica Health Solution (SwipeRx) and the Faculty of Pharmacy at Pancasila University, which also collaborates with DKT Academy Indonesia as a partner in organizing educational activities. This activity is intended for students of the Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program (PSPPA), as well as Bachelor’s (S1) and Diploma (D3) Pharmacy programs.
Comprehensive Education on Sexual Health and Contraception
The seminar theme reflects the urgency of the role of pharmacists, especially prospective pharmacists, in providing education on sexual health, contraception, family planning, and HIV and sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention. The specific objectives of this activity include:
- Understanding of contraceptive methods, such as condoms and emergency contraception.
- Education on the use of condoms as a means of contraception and prevention of HIV/STIs.
- Knowledge of emergency contraception.
- Basic skills in counseling and patient education.
The seminar began with remarks from three speakers: Prof. Dr. apt. Syamsudin, M.Biomed., Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Pancasila University; apt. Corry Puspitasari from DKT Indonesia; and Oscar Ronald, Director of SwipeRx. All three spoke about the importance of collaboration between academia and industry in improving students’ knowledge of reproductive health.

Next, the seminar continued with three main sessions. The first session was presented by apt. Zulhijrah Syamsudin on the topic of general contraception and the role of pharmacists in contraceptive services.
The second session was presented by apt. Anissa Chusnul Ayusyah, discussing emergency contraception (post pill). The third session discussed HIV prevention and sexually transmitted infections (STIs), which was closed with a discussion session. All sessions were interactive and received positive responses from participants. Enthusiasm was evident from the many questions asked and active participation in the discussion.
The event was also enlivened by ice breaking sessions and pharmacist counseling role plays, which provided realistic simulations of pharmaceutical services. This activity was attended by 295 participants, who were required to fill out an attendance list and take a pretest and posttest as a condition for obtaining a certificate. The participants were very enthusiastic, as evidenced by the many questions and active participation, especially in the role play and discussion sessions. The most active participants received attractive prizes in the form of tumblers and e-wallet vouchers.
FFUP Commitment and CSR Support
As a token of appreciation for the successful event, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Pancasila University received Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) support from its partners in the amount of IDR 8,000,000. These funds will be used to procure facilities to support campus activities and lectures.
