The intensive workshop entitled “Laboratory Management Review, Laboratory Good Documentation Practice, and Out of Specification Result Handling” was successfully held for two days (13-14/11) in the 2nd floor meeting room of Faculty Pharmacy Universitas Pancasila. This workshop aimed to enhance laboratory management competency in accordance with international standards, with a primary focus on the implementation of good documentation practices, data integrity, and handling out-of-specification test results. This workshop was designed to help participants understand and apply best practices in laboratory management, ensure compliance with regulations, and improve the reliability of generated data.
Participants received learning from expert speakers who have experience in their fields, complemented by interactive sessions in the form of real-world case studies. This workshop was not only theoretical but also practical, so that participants could directly apply the knowledge gained in their respective work units. By attending this workshop, it is expected that laboratory technicians can:
Increase operational efficiency and accuracy. Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Minimize the risk of errors that can harm the organization. This workshop is concrete evidence that improving laboratory quality does not only depend on tools and technology, but also on the management of people, processes, and proper documentation.
