Seoul, South Korea – Delegates from the Faculty of Pharmacy of Pancasila University (FFUP) made Indonesia proud at the Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA) Congress 2024 held in Seoul, South Korea, from October 29 to November 2, 2024. In this prestigious congress, researchers from FFUP presented various researches covering the categories of scientific; medicines and health information; social and administrative pharmacy; industrial pharmacy & marketing section.

During the presentations, the researchers from FFUP were highly appreciated by the congress participants, especially for their contributions in research relevant to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries in Asia. Prof. Dr. apt. Ni Made Dwi Sandhi Utami, M.Kes., expressed her pride, “The FAPA Congress gives us the opportunity to share research innovations that can provide real benefits, especially in the discovery of marker compounds for DPP-4 inhibitors that have the potential for further development.”
Similarly, Dr. apt. Faizatun, M.Si., who presented research on the formulation and characterization of sunscreen based on red pomegranate peel extract, gave a positive review, “This event opens up opportunities for cooperation to develop products based on Indonesian natural ingredients that can compete in the global market.”
FAPA 2024 has become a valuable event for FFUP delegates to showcase the excellence of pharmaceutical research from Indonesia and strengthen international collaboration in the development of science and technology in the pharmaceutical field.
