The activity began with an introduction session of PT Nose Herbal Indo, as a cosmetic maklon that has been established for almost a decade. In this session, students were introduced to the company’s history, vision and mission, and Nose’s contribution in advancing the cosmetics industry in Indonesia. In addition, students were also briefed on career opportunities in the beauty industry, especially for pharmacy graduates. This was conveyed by Wiwik Puspita, as HR Manager of PT Nose Herbal Indo, in the introduction session.

After the introduction session, students were guided to visit areas such as the Research and Development, Quality Control, and Production laboratories. In each area, they were able to witness first-hand the process of making cosmetics, from the formulation of raw materials to the packaging of finished products.

With the high standards applied at PT Nose Herbal Indo, this experience provides students with a deep insight into how quality cosmetic products are produced. Of course, this activity can motivate students to innovate and contribute to the development of the beauty industry.

Content Challenge Competition
After exploring the factory area, students were invited to take part in the Content Challenge. This aims to train their creativity as well as share their industrial visit experience through social media in a fun and interesting way. The challenge became a means for students to convey what they had learned with their own unique style and point of view.

A total of 13 students received rewards, thanks to their creativity in presenting the most interesting and inspiring content. Through this activity, students’ enthusiasm increased, both in terms of academics and creativity. In addition to broadening their horizons about the cosmetics manufacturing process, they also gained a new understanding of how the industry requires collaboration between innovation and creative communication.

Student Impressions and Campus Appreciation
One of the students, Salwa Nabillah Zaini, expressed her impression during the industrial visit at PT Nose Herbal Indo. “Initially I was not too interested in the cosmetics industry. But after seeing firsthand the production process at PT Nose Herbal Indo, I became more enthusiastic about exploring a career in this field,” she said.
