Located in Meeting Room Lt. 2, Faculty of Pharmacy of Pancasila University on Tuesday (11/6) received a visit from 50 (fifty) counseling teachers representing the Consultation of Guidance and Counseling Teachers (MGBK) in Jabodetabek, Banten, and Cilegon. This visit is a series of MGBK gathering activities organized by Pancasila University.

The series of activities began with the introduction of the FFUP Profile, excellence and achievements of the Study Program at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Pancasila University, by the Dean of FFUP Prof. Dr. apt. Syamsudin, M.Biomed, Head of S1 Program, and Head of D3 Program. During the visit, the Dean of FFUP was accompanied by the Vice Dean for Field II, Dr. apt. Greesty Finotory Swandini, M. Farm, and Vice Dean III, Prof. Dr. apt. Ni Made Dwi Sandiuthami, M.Kes, at the meeting held an audience session with counseling teachers related to the learning process at FFUP, excellence, and career opportunities after graduating from FFUP.

The counseling teachers were very enthusiastic by asking various questions about FFUP and giving input related to accelerated learning in SMA / SMK as a preparation for entering college. Regarding the advice and input from the counseling teachers, the Dean of FFUP will immediately follow up by opening a Pre-University program at the Faculty of Pharmacy. He also said that for the admission of new students for FY 2024/2025, registration was opened through the UTBK SNBT 2024 Score path (with a minimum score of S1 ≥ 400, D3 ≥ 350). This registration is open for S1 and D3 Pharmacy study programs, with the selection process only through interviews without any test selection.

The event ended with a laboratory tour. The counseling teachers were divided into small groups, then each group was guided to visit laboratories from the 2nd floor to the 4th floor in FFUP. In each laboratory, the counseling teachers were given an introduction to what the students would learn there by the laboratory assistants. Some teachers also tried to simulate the tools available in each laboratory.”[dis]
